New Album: Modern HippieErrorhead’s brand new Album “Modern Hippie” is for everybody who is craving for the musical spirit of the late 60”s and early 70”s taken to the year 2008. A modern sound that combines diverse influences such as Rock, Ambient, World music with strong hooks and grooves. Think Hendrix, Pink Floyd and Jeff Beck teaming up for a creative spin.

Mastermind Marcus Nepomus Deml has teamed up with bass legend Frank Itt (Terence Trent D'Arby, Jule Neigel, Jasper Van't Hof) and drummer extraordinaire Zacky Tsoukas (John Hayes, Billy Sheehan, Helmut Zerlett) and singer Robbie Smith. The album was mixed analogue by Star engineer Kai Fricke of Mike Landau and Vinnie Colajuta fame at the famous Toolhouse studios in Rotenburg/Germany and will satisfy even the most discriminating pair of ears. “Modern Hippie” is not just another album, it is a statement!

Marcus will be presenting his signature amp by Tube Thomsen at the Namm Show in Anaheim on January 17-20 at the Tube Thomsen booth Hall D booth No. 2896 - so drop by to see and hear this monster: It features 3 totally independent channels (Clean, Crunch, Hi-Gain) and has beautiful extras like independent Acutronics Reverbs for each chanel, a build in "Tube Screamer", independent presence controls and a pair of EL 34"s in the Poweramp - and is rated at 45 watts (it's much louder than most 100 watts amps, haha!) It's a combination of Marcus' favorite amps, like a Deluxe Reverb, a Dumble Overdrive and a 68" Plexi, modded to Marcus specs. According to Mr. Errorhead "It's the best amp i ever ever used!"

Oh yeah: It also lights up in the dark ...
